On a beautiful Saturday evening, the 27th of April, L&A Elements had the pleasure of being part of a truly special event – the first surprise wedding band gig of the season for 2024. Our band, “Under Wraps,” added an element of excitement and joy to the wedding of Tracey and Tony at The Whitehouse Hotel & Wedding Venue in Peterlee.
The concept of a surprise band gig brought an air of mystery and anticipation to the event. As the evening unfolded, guests were treated to a delightful surprise as L&A Elements, accompanied by a talented guitarist, bassist, and drummer, took the stage after the first song. Our set list included crowd-pleasers like Michael Jackson’s “Beat It,” Queen’s “We Will Rock You,” and sing-along classics such as “Sweet Caroline” and “Proud Mary”.
The energy and enthusiasm of the band, combined with the familiar tunes, created an unforgettable experience for all the guests. The joy and excitement of the celebration were beautifully captured by the extremely talented photographer Michael Hawman and videographer Jordan Crosby. Their work added an extra layer of magic to the event.
We extend our heartfelt thanks to the team at The Whitehouse Peterlee, led by Geoff, for their warm hospitality and support throughout the event. The stunning venue provided the perfect backdrop for a night filled with music, laughter, and love.
